PRIVACY

What we keep. What we don’t.

1711wwwdown.com is an independent, non-commercial project. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics scripts and no third-party trackers on this site.

Stored in your browser

• A random anonymous player ID, used to remember your quest progress.
• The fragments you have found, your terminal command history and your bunker callsign.
• Your effects on/off choice.

All of this lives in your browser’s local storage. Clear your site data and it is gone.

Stored on our server

• The anonymous player ID and the time each fragment was found.
• If you finish the quest: the callsign you choose and the time you finished. These appear publicly on the Survivors page.
• Bunker chat messages, which are public to everyone in the bunker.
• For rate limiting only: a salted, one-way hash of your IP address. It is deleted after 24 hours. Raw IP addresses are not stored.

Not stored

No names, no email addresses, no phone numbers, no payment details, no location. The site never asks for any of them. Please do not post personal information in the bunker chat.

Sound

Audio never starts on its own. It plays only after you press SOUND OFF to turn it on.
